Bill Martin, Jr (1916-2004) - We will focus on books written by one of America’s favorite children’s author, Mr. Bill Martin, Jr. He wrote more than 300 books, among them the bestselling classics Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?, and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.  Bill Martin, Jr was gifted in his ability to speak directly to children through his “jazzy” writings. In promoting literacy development the teachers will read a book and then offer the children a fun activity based on the book of the day.
